Now Hiring:

Assistant Clinical Director

Rezenity Health is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director to join our growing, mission-driven mental health practice. This role is ideal for a grounded, flexible, and highly motivated professional who is energized by the opportunity to help shape an innovative organization from the inside. As a young practice operating in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, we are building systems, refining processes, and expanding services in real time. The right candidate will be comfortable with thoughtful change, able to prioritize effectively when demands shift, and committed to maintaining steadiness and professionalism under pressure.

About the Role

The Assistant Clinical Director will serve as a key member of the leadership team, supporting both administrative operations and direct clinical care. This position requires someone who can move fluidly between strategy and execution: setting priorities for the administrative team, supervising day-to-day operations, helping create and refine policies, addressing problems as they arise, and maintaining a small clinical caseload. Because we are a growing practice, the role will require comfort with ambiguity, strong judgment, and the ability to self-regulate well when managing competing priorities or unexpected challenges.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be

  • Deeply aligned with Rezenity Health’s mission to support whole-person care

  • Energized by working in a fast-paced startup environment where systems are evolving and each team member has a meaningful impact

  • Able to remain calm, thoughtful, and effective under pressure, especially when priorities shift or unexpected issues arise

  • Comfortable taking initiative, solving problems independently, and knowing when to seek support or collaboration

  • Flexible, emotionally regulated, and able to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, clinicians, administrative staff, and leadership

  • Excited to be part of a small, devoted team that values empathy, respect, compassion, dedication, and continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative operations, including referrals, phones, insurance billing, patient collections, office workflows, and staff coordination

  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities for the administrative team in collaboration with the Founder/Director

  • Supervise administrative staff, support training and onboarding, review performance, and address challenges directly and constructively

  • Create, refine, and uphold policies and procedures as the practice grows and operational needs evolve

  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to strengthen patient services, workflow efficiency, and business strategy

  • Maintain a small clinical caseload and provide direct services in an area of interest or specialty, with an expected 12 weekly direct service hours

  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and contribute to a team culture rooted in professionalism, compassion, and shared purpose

Qualifications

  • Completed LMSW or LMHC and a valid New York State professional license

  • Minimum two years’ experience in management-level positions with direct involvement in operations and supervision of staff

  • Leadership experience in healthcare specifically preferred, but not required

  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and communication skills

  • Excellent organization, time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Comfort with healthcare and administrative software systems

  • Leadership skills that reflect steadiness, humility, accountability, and the ability to motivate others

  • Ability to self-regulate, communicate calmly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $90,000-$95,000 commensurate with level of experience

Benefits:

  • Four weeks paid time off annually (inclusive of vacation and sick leave) and 8 paid national holidays

  • Health insurance (medical, dental, and vision)

  • Complimentary $10,000 life insurance policy with options for a variety of other insurance benefits through MetLife

  • Administrative support including phones, calendar management, records requests, disability paperwork, and outgoing referrals

  • Marketing and incoming referrals

  • Electronic health record with patient portal

  • Billing, collections and payroll

  • Maintenance of health insurance contracts and business liability insurance

  • Computer hardware, software, and IT support (on site)

  • Furnished office space
