Why Choose Rezenity Coaching?

Our coaching services are designed to provide rapid, discreet, and practical support without the traditional constraints of mental health therapy.
-
Focused & Practical: We focus on getting you active and engaged with what matters to you. There is no digging around in your past or your relationships—just building your personal toolkit.
-
Completely Discreet: Pain and life transitions are not mental health disorders. Coaching requires no mental health diagnosis, and coaching is not billed to insurance, so no claims or clinical documentation are submitted to an insurer.
-
Fast, Actionable Results: Every session outlines clear action steps. Most clients report significantly improved mindset, increased physical activity, and reduced stress within just 3–4 sessions.
-
Expert Leadership: Services are provided directly by Rezenity Health Founder Donna Kreher, PhD, a pain and health psychologist with over 15 years of experience delivering brief, effective interventions.
Our Coaching Programs
1. Pain Coaching
Pain coaching provides targeted support to help you manage physical recovery, prepare for or bounce back from surgery, and return to active daily living. We work on activity pacing so a good day doesn’t cost you the next three, on managing flare-ups when they come, and on rebuilding confidence in movement after an injury.
-
Focus Areas: Chronic pain self-management, injury recovery, surgery preparation and recovery, activity pacing, and flare-up management.
-
What to Expect:
-
Assessment Phase: A comprehensive evaluation focused strictly on your physical recovery, pain-related concerns, and functional goals—without assigning mental health diagnoses or digging into past history.
-
Planning Phase: You and Dr. Kreher will work together to develop a personalized, action-oriented plan targeting activity pacing, pain coping strategies, and surgical/injury recovery goals.
-
Support & Follow-Up Phase: Dedicated 1-on-1 coaching over 2 to 4 months featuring clear action steps at every session, ongoing care collaboration with your referring providers, and flexible subscription options for ongoing support.
-
-
How It Differs from Mental Health Therapy: Traditional psychotherapy often focuses on diagnosing psychiatric conditions or processing deep emotional history. Pain coaching operates on the principle that pain is not a mental health disorder. Instead of treating symptoms as a mental health condition, pain coaching focuses strictly on physical rehabilitation goals, pain neuroscience education, coping strategies, and activity pacing. It delivers the same evidence-based strategies used in multidisciplinary pain programs — activity pacing, pain neuroscience education, and graded return to movement without assigning a mental health diagnosis or sending clinical documentation to insurance providers.
2. Professional Coaching
Professional coaching helps you navigate significant life changes and health journeys with confidence and clarity.
-
Focus Areas: Health navigation, life transitions, personal growth, and general fulfillment.
-
What to Expect:
-
Assessment Phase: A thorough intake assessing your current life transitions, health navigation needs, or general fulfillment goals.
-
Planning Phase: Formulation of a customized roadmap designed to build practical toolkits, decision-making frameworks, and forward-looking milestones.
-
Support & Follow-Up Phase: Sustained 1-on-1 coaching over 2 to 4 months, ongoing collaboration with your care team, and optional month-to-month maintenance subscriptions for continued portal messaging and check-ins.
-
-
How It Differs from Mental Health Therapy: While mental health treatment explores historical trauma, family dynamics, or clinical mood disorders, professional coaching is strictly forward-looking and goal-oriented. It meets you where you are today to build practical toolkits for action, decision-making, and lifestyle adjustments—completely independent of the medical diagnostic model.
