Who will perform my evaluation?

All evaluations at Rezenity Health are conducted or overseen by licensed psychologists with doctoral-level training and specialized experience in diagnostic assessment.

What is the difference between a diagnostic assessment and a neuropsychological evaluation?

Diagnostic assessments are shorter, focused evaluations designed to clarify specific mental health diagnoses (such as anxiety, depression, or ADHD). Neuropsychological evaluations are much longer, highly intensive tests that assess memory, cognitive functioning, attention deficits from brain injuries, or dementia. We do not offer neuropsychological evaluations at Rezenity.

Can I keep working with my current therapist?

Yes, absolutely. These assessments are strictly consultative. With your written permission, we are happy to share our final report with your current therapist or prescriber so they can coordinate your care.

What if I’m nervous or hesitant about this process?

It is completely normal to feel nervous or worry that you are being judged or "graded". Our process is collaborative, respectful, and transparent. Our goal is simply to make sure you have the tools, answers, and support network you need to succeed.

Time Commitment: Approximately 2 hours in total.
Not "Surgical Clearance": Only your surgeon determines if a procedure is medically safe; our goal is to identify your strengths, ensure you have the right support, and set you up for the best possible post-surgery outcome.

2. Brief Diagnostic Assessment

Ideal for focused, common outpatient mental health questions where you or your provider need diagnostic clarification to guide treatment.

3. Extended Diagnostic Assessment

Designed for complex diagnostic questions where standard treatments haven't worked, or multiple diagnoses may be overlapping.

Common Questions Addressed: Complex differential diagnoses, significant treatment resistance, suspected personality symptoms, or cases requiring extensive collateral information.
What’s Included: In-depth diagnostic clinical interviewing, comprehensive historical review, multiple diagnostic measures, and a highly detailed clinical report.
Time Commitment: 6 to 9.5 hours of total clinician time.

Transparent Investment & Pricing

We do not bill insurance directly. We spend significant time custom-tailoring each assessment, administering and interpreting clinical measures, and drafting comprehensive, individualized reports, efforts which are not reimbursed by insurance companies. Our targeted, strategic assessment process keeps your out-of-pocket costs as affordable as possible.

Note: You will receive an exact estimate following your initial consultation. We will always notify you before any additional billing occurs if the clinician determines more extensive testing is clinically required.

Services We Do NOT Provide

To ensure we maintain the highest level of clinical specialization, our outpatient assessment services are strictly focused on common outpatient mental health and presurgical needs. We do not provide:

Autism diagnostic evaluations.
Forensic, court-ordered, or child custody evaluations.
Disability or workers' compensation determinations.
Neuropsychological, dementia, or traumatic brain injury (TBI) evaluations.
Intellectual disability evaluations or K-12 educational testing.
